Probably one of the quickest and easiest ways to start generating some residual income is to join an affiliate program and sell one of their products that offers commissions on both the initial purchase – and the related recurrent purchases.
Look for affiliate products that provide a service on a monthly basis – things like web hosting, or many of the article submitter programs, etc.
You, as an affiliate, do the sales work – one time – and earn commissions for as long as the customer continues to pay the monthly service fees.
Note: Many affiliate programs having products that generate recurrent monthly income only give commissions to their affiliates on the initial purchase – so be sure you understand the commission arrangements before you join an affiliate program with the intent of generating residual income.

There are many others as well – other affiliate products that generate residual income may be located through the various Affiliate Networks such as ClickBank, Commission Junction, LinkShare, etc.
